Drawing upon KGA’s extensive experience in construction litigation, design document preparation and project management, Quality Assurance Programs are developed:

• Pre-Construction

Set up minimum standards for design drawings and specifications for key issues such as building envelope, roof, wall cladding, windows and waterproofing
  * Manuals for building envelope, site drainage and maintenance have been successfully used when focused on the common types of building construction
   * Define construction and warranty procedures prior to the start of construction

 


• Construction
   *
Field mock-ups and pre-construction meetings
   * Periodic observation of field workmanship and documentation ;by photographs and video
   * Limited random testing (i.e. roof, decks, windows, foundations)
   * Verify as-built condition consistency with original design documents

• Post-Construction
   * Procedures and labor allocation for customer service requests
   * Response time critical "red flag" item list (i.e. leaks, electrical/mechanical/ plumbing failures)
